About Me
I’m Alex - a mixed-media (but predominantly watercolour) artist from England.
I’ve always loved art from all mediums - from film to photography to painting - working as a producer for several years in London to then finding the belief in myself that I can pursue my artwork as not just a hobby, but perhaps a small art business too.
All of my work - whether nature watercolours or lightbulb sketches - is heavily influenced by the time in my life and area I’m living. Encasing objects in lightbulbs was during lockdown when we were all trapped behind glass windows, to my sea-life watercolours being inspired by my recent move & year spent in Perth, Australia where I sold my work at various markets.
I’ve recently returned to the UK and will be travelling Europe in 2026 for many months. I plan to take inspiration from all areas I travel and build a variety of collections.
I’m very much on a journey to realise my favourite visualisation of my future - sat in a studio, working on my far-reaching art business. For now, we grow!
